【Near Kenrokuen Garden】Create Your Own Kutani Ware Masterpiece!

Important: This experience is available only to guests who will be staying in Japan for at least one week after the workshop.

Experience authentic Kutani ware painting at Nomura Uendo, a Kutani ware specialty store with over 100 years of history.

Located just steps from Kenrokuen Garden, this hands-on experience is the perfect way to take a break from sightseeing and discover one of Kanazawa’s most beautiful traditional crafts.

Choose from an incredible selection of 26 colors—one of the largest color selections available—and create a Kutani ware piece that is uniquely yours. In addition to the traditional five Kutani colors known as “Kutani Gosai,” you’ll have the freedom to choose your favorite colors and bring your own design to life.

Never painted before? No problem! Even if you’re not confident in your drawing skills, our certified traditional craftsman will guide you step by step with care. This experience is suitable for everyone, from children to adults.

Important: This experience is available only to guests who will be staying in Japan for at least one week after the workshop.

Your piece will be carefully fired and shipped to your accommodation in Japan within approximately one week.

Why not take home a special memory of your trip to Kanazawa—a one-of-a-kind piece of Kutani ware created by you?
