You can gain a deeper understanding of how Kaga embroidery was born and how it has evolved over time—not just through experiencing it, but by learning about its history and craftsmanship directly from the artisans.

Experience the Art of Kaga Embroidery


Observe the delicate craftsmanship of traditional artisans up close and create your own small item using the techniques of Kaga embroidery.


Available Items:

Key holder / Strap / Mini framed embroidery, etc. (you can choose from these)


Participants:

Children (around 6 years old and up) to adults


Duration:

• Key holder / Strap / Hair accessory: approx. 1–2 hours

 • Earrings / Pierced earrings: approx. 2–3 hours

 • Mini framed embroidery: approx. 3 hours


Experience Fee:

3,300 yen – 5,500 yen (varies depending on the item)


Each session can accommodate up to 10 participants.

Advance reservation required at least 3 days before the desired date.

By Public Transportation
From Kanazawa Station, take bus No. 18 bound for Korinbo / Minamicho via Higashi-bu Shako or Kanazawa Gakuin University.
You can also take the bus from the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art area (Korinbo / Hirosaka).
Get off at Nikromachi bus stop — about a 1-minute walk.
