Chokin is the art of metal carving, which developed as a technique for creating decorations for Japanese swords, known as tosogu. Japanese sword decorations, which embody the samurai's spirit, are infused with various wishes and aesthetic sensibilities. The tsuba (sword guard) is a prime example.

Through this experience, you can learn about the wisdom and aesthetic sensibilities of our predecessors, as well as the metalworking techniques that supported them, by exploring the art of the tsuba.

【 Experience Details 】
