The Kaga inlay is a rare traditional craft of Kanazawa.
Kaga inlay is a traditional metal inlay technique still practiced today in the city of Kanazawa (Ishikawa Prefecture)
It came from Kyoto.
There is the history of 400 years.
This workshop is four steps.
Inlay with silver wire.
Using a file to make it smooth.
Marking design with carved seals.
Finally using sandpaper to polish.
From symmetric age 10 years old to ７５ years old.
There is the carved seal for children, too.

＊Please come with the clothes that you may become dirty.
