“Higashiyu”, the long-standing public bath in Higashi Chayagai. Preserving the time-polished ambience, it is now turned into a new tourist destination.
Recreating the traditional air of Higashi Chayagai, the interior décor uses Indian red and lattice, and keeps the multi-story ceiling from the public bath days to create the open atmosphere.
The gold leaf soft ice cream, one of the most famous Kanazawa goodies, was first served at the Higashiyama Store of HAKUICHI. It is simply a gorgeous delicacy with a full sheet of gold leaf that was initially offered in a limited quantity to celebrate the launch of Hokuriku Shinkansen.
