Night Illumination at Terashima Kurando Residence

Experience the enchanting beauty of the illuminated Japanese garden at Terashima Kurando Residence, a former samurai house in Kanazawa.
The garden, with trees said to be over 300 years old, is gently lit after dusk, revealing its serene charm.

In spring, delicate white doudan azalea blossoms can be seen in the garden, adding a seasonal touch to the nighttime scenery.

Visitors can also enjoy matcha green tea with traditional Japanese sweets in the tea room overlooking the illuminated garden.
Served with the graceful movements of the tea ceremony, it offers a quiet moment to experience the atmosphere of Japanese tea culture.
No reservation required. Matcha tickets: 400 yen (approx. 15 minutes).
