Izumi Kyoka Kinenkan Museum

Touch the fantasy world of Kyoka

Kyoka Izumi began her creative activities in the mid-Meiji period (1868-1912) and produced many works during the Taisho and Showa periods (1926-1989). The museum, built on the site of the house where Kyoka spent her childhood, offers visitors a chance to experience not only her works, but also her life and her sense of living.
