Teramachiya Fushin-An

Kanazawa Machiya wind-bell guest house! Only one private house per day Wind-bell and light healing handmade workshops are available.

Located in Saigawa River, Teramachi, Kanazawa City, in the district for preservation of traditional buildings, this machiya is within hearing distance of the sound of bells. Conveniently located within walking distance of the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kenrokuen Garden, Nishi Chaya District, and Myoryuji Temple. As a feature, it is the world's first guest house with a wind-bell gallery. The house also offers a hands-on experience of making wind chimes and lanterns with the interesting texture and shape of Japanese paper. Since the entire house is for rent, you can enjoy the entire machiya. While making use of old sympathetic tiles, doors, beams, and pillars, but the kitchen, bath, and toilet facilities are all state-of-the-art.
