Ishikiri Slope / “W” Slope

A zigzagging, stair-like slope resembling the letter "W," this was a favorite walking path of the poet Sosei Muroo. It seems that during the feudal era, this path was called "Ishibaki-zaka" because there was a town of stonemasons at the top of the slope.
