GO FOR KOGEI 2025

Craft and Art: Philosophies for Life

This year, the special event ‘GO FOR KOGEI 2025,’ which brings together the charm of crafts and art, will be held in Kanazawa City and Toyama City. The event will run for 37 days from Saturday, 13 September 2025, to Sunday, 19 October 2025. With the theme of ‘craftsmanship,’ contemporary artists, craftspeople, and artisans will engage with materials and techniques to propose beauty born from daily life. Exhibitions and experiential events will take place in locations that reflect the unique characteristics of each region, such as the Higashiyama area of Kanazawa City in Ishikawa Prefecture and the Iwase area of Toyama City in Toyama Prefecture. This is an excellent opportunity to see, touch, and feel the craftsmanship culture of the Hokuriku region, which is gaining attention as a new hub for craftsmanship culture.
