Yuzen-Nagashi
"Yuzen-Nagashi", a winter tradition in Kanazawa, will return on June 4th only!
Yuzen-Nagashi is one of the processes of Kaga-Yuzen silk dyeing, a traditional craft in Kanazawa, where glue and excess dye on the fabric is washed away in a clean river. In the past, it was a popular tradition in Kanazawa.
In order to carry on this traditional culture, Yuzen-Nagashi will be held by Kaga-Yuzen artists and craftsmen on the Asanogawa River for one day only!
This is a precious opportunity to see Yuzen-Nagashi, so please come along!
