Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival
Don’t miss the impressive parade of warriors!
Kanazawa's biggest festival is held every year over three days on the first weekend in June. The festivities peak on Saturday afternoon with the Hyakumangoku Parade, the highlight of the festival. The massive four hour parade features everything from lion dancing and acrobatics by the Kagatobi firefighters to a procession of valiant warriors.
On the day of the Hyakumangoku Parade, the procession route in the center of the city will be closed to traffic, and local buses will operate on a temporary schedule and detour routes.
