HAKUZA Main Store
This is the main store of HAKUZA, which preserves the traditional "entsuke" gold leaf skills, a UNESCO intangible cultural asset. In the store, the gold leaf production process is explained by our staff with gold leaf expertise and craftsman’s skill can be seen up close.
The “Golden Tea Room”, finished with the application of approximately 40,000 pieces of entsuke gold leaf, is a must-see. Gold leaf produced using the entsuke technique is used for repairing national treasures. (Photos may be taken)
