Kanazawa Umimirai Library
One of the most beautiful public libraries in the world
The library features a novel building design with approximately 6,000 round windows installed in the outer wall. The design aims to provide "a sense of outdoor-like openness, filled with soft light". As a result, approximately 60% of the north side of the building forms an atrium, making it a library that combines a sense of openness and calmness.
