Kanazawa: Exclusive Taiko Workshop, Live Performance & Sake Brewery Dining

Visit a 400-year-old taiko workshop, enjoy a live performance, try taiko drumming, and dine at a historic sake brewery restaurant.

Step inside Asano Taiko, one of Japan's leading taiko drum makers with over 400 years of history, for an exclusive experience available only once a month. Explore workshop areas normally closed to the public, watch master craftsmen at work, enjoy a welcome performance by a professional taiko drummer, and experience the power of taiko drumming yourself.

As you discover the history and craftsmanship behind taiko making, you'll also learn how these traditions became part of Kanazawa's cultural heritage and inspired the design of Kanazawa Station's iconic Tsuzumi Gate.

The tour concludes at one of Japan's rare sake brewery restaurants, where you'll enjoy a 10-course French-style kaiseki meal. Discover the terroir of locally brewed sake, crafted with pure spring water from the mountains near Kanazawa and rice grown in the region's fertile plains.

Round-trip transportation, an English-speaking guide, exclusive workshop access, the taiko performance, taiko drumming experience, your meal, and insurance are all included. Return transportation to Kanazawa Station or selected hotels is also provided.
