You can make a coaster with a real tatami scent in just ten minutes!

It is an experience of making coasters with real tatami mats, devised by a tatami craftsman in Kanazawa.

Even in Japan, the number of Japanese-style tatami rooms is decreasing and making a tatami coaster would be an great opportunity for all ages.

It will only take you about 10~15 minutes to make it. Why don't you just stop by before or after stolling around the district.

Participation fee: 600 yen per person (tax included)　

*Admission fee is separately required if you also would like to see the museum exhibition.

*Admission fee: 400 yen for adults, 300 yen for senior over 65 years old and university students, 200 yen for elementary, junior high, and high school students, free for infants

Capacity: Up to 5 people at a time (Please contact us in advance for a group session.)

By Public Transportation: From JR Kanazawa Station East Exit (Kenrokuen Exit) Bus Stop No. 6, take the "Castle Town Kanazawa Excursion Bus" (clockwise) and get off at "Hashibacho (Higashi / Chikakemachi Chaya Street)" and walk a short distance

Take the "Castle Town Kanazawa Excursion Bus" (clockwise) and get off at "Hashibacho (Kinjoro Direction)" and walk for 5 minutes.
