Shibafune Koide

The company was founded in 1917. It started as a small confectionery shop in the town. Shibafune Koide's representative confectionery, Shibafune, is made by a craftsman who brushes a ginger molasses made using a unique process onto a flour rice cracker, one by one, to create a smooth surface. The tangy ginger flavour has a nostalgic taste. The Shinka-en garden, which represents the famous Kenrokuen Garden, and the wildflowers that reflect the nature of Kanazawa. The seasonal flavours are conveyed in the gentle confectionery. We only want you to say one word - delicious.
