The closest beach to Kanazawa ～Uchinada Coast～
Uchinada Town is located almost in the center of Ishikawa Prefecture, north of Kanazawa City. The Uchinada Coast along the Sea of Japan is a coastal dune formed by sediment carried from the Tedori River. The dunes extend 9 km from north to south, are 1 km wide, and at their highest point are 61 m above sea level. Uchinada Coast was selected as one of Japan's "100 Best Swimming Coastlines" because of its wide, and sandy beach. You can swim from the middle of July to mid-August every year.
It is the closest beach to Kanazawa City, and the view of the blue sea and sandy beach is very liberating, and the sunset over the sea is also impressive.
