*In Kanazawa,geisha is called geiko.

Kanazawa is home to three historic teahouse districts: Higashi, Nishi, and Kazue-machi.

In these districts, around 40 geikos (geishas) continue to preserve and share the refined traditions of Japanese hospitality.

Traditionally, teahouses in Kanazawa do not accept first-time visitors without an introduction. However, this special program was created by the City of Kanazawa to help preserve and pass on this unique cultural heritage.

During the experience, you will enjoy elegant geiko (geisha) dances, traditional music performances such as taiko drumming, and may even have the chance to interact with the geiko (geisha).
We invite you to take part in this unforgettable cultural experience.
