The 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa aims to provide a comfortable viewing experience for visitors and will thus be closed for large-scale renovations from May 6, 2027 to March 2028.
Kanazawa City is now working on the preparations to hold the Kanazawa Arts in the City Festival during the Museum’s closing period, so that many people will continue to visit Kanazawa.
Details on the festival program and related events will be announced in due course as they are finalized.
