Day trip from Kanazawa to Shirakawa-go
Many people may be surprised to learn that it takes only about 80 minutes by bus from Kanazawa to Shirakawa-go, Gifu's World Heritage Site of Gassho-zukuri style architecture,
It can be enjoyed as a day trip from Kanazawa.
This course uses a round-trip highway bus from Kanazawa Station.
There are 8 to 10 daily express buses from Kanazawa Station to Shirakawa-go.
You can schedule the bus according to your own plans.

Gassho-Zukuri Village, registered as a World Heritage Site, is home to numerous gassho-zukuri houses, some 100 in all, and is also known as a place where people still live,
The village is also known as a place where people still live and work.
The "good old days of Japan" are still alive and well in Shirakawa-go, with a variety of scenery throughout the four seasons.

Visit to Wada House, a National Important Cultural Property
The Wada Family is the largest gassho-zukuri private house in Shirakawa-go, with a history of over 300 years, and is designated as a National Important Cultural Property.
The first floor (residence) and the second floor (silkworm room for making raw silk) are open to the public.
Enjoy Hida beef!
Hida beef is a "black Japanese beef" raised in Gifu Prefecture, which has established itself as one of the leading brands of Wagyu beef in Japan.
There are restaurants in Shirakawa-go that serve Hida beef, so please enjoy it.

The view of Ogimachi Gassho-Zukuri Village from this observatory is exceptional.
The shuttle bus is available to take visitors to the observatory, which is a short walk from the town.
