Mt. Hakusan has long been one of Japan's three most famous mountains, and this course around Mt. Hakusan is blessed with abundant nature, such as the Tedori River, which boasts the largest watershed in Ishikawa Prefecture. We recommend electric-assist bicycles or mountain bikes.
You can carry your bicycle on the Hokuriku Railroad Ishikawa Line.（unavailable during the winter season (from December 1 to March 15)）

Hakusan City Tourism League
1 minute on foot from Tsurugi Station on the Hokuriku Railway, on the 1st floor of the Hakusan City Hall Tsurugi Branch. Sightseeing guides and rental bicycles for within Hakusan City are available here.

Former Kagaichi-no-miya Station
It was developed as a rest facility in 2019. There is also a multi-purpose toilet, and from the back of the station building, you can use Tedori Canyon Road (bicycle-only road).
Shirayama Hime Jinja Shrine
The main shrine and most important location of the Hakusan Faith, which has 3,000 shrines nationwide. The mountain is locally known as "Shirayama-san."
Kinmei-bashi Bridge
The now-defunct Kinmei railway line, which was abandoned in 1987, ran here, and it is now a bicycle bridge.
Segino
A rest spot with idyllic countryside scenery and Torigoe Castle. From here you can enjoy the exhilaration of cycling on the Canyon Road through rice fields.
Bird Humming Torigoe Hot Spring
In addition to a large barbecuing ground and tennis courts, there is the "Kobo-no-yu" hot spring, which alleviates muscle and joint pains.
Roadside Station Ikko-Ikki no sato
Adjacent to the Shokusaikan, where you can find locally produced delicacies, and the Rekishikan, where you can learn about local history. In the autumn you can cycle through the white flowers of the soba fields.
Kobo-ike Pond
The valuable spring waters of the foot of Mt.Hakusan, which were selected as one of the "100 Famous Waters of the Showa Era."
Omaki-dondo Bridge / Hakusan Observatory
You can see Tedori Gorge from the suspension bridge over the Tedori River, and you can see the summit of Mt. Hakusan from the deck of the observatory.
Hakusan Yoshino Auto Campground
A campsite with ample facilities, such as a suspension bridge, a pond, a large grassy area, and a mushroom forest.
Tedori Gorge / Furo Bridge
A beautiful gorge created by the flow of the Tedori River. Furo Bridge is one of the bridges over Tedori Gorge. A popular photo spot throughout the four seasons, the beautiful, emerald green flow of the Tedori river is accompanied by fresh greenery in spring and autumnal leaves in fall.
Watagataki Waterfall
A waterfall where water splashes down after falling for approx. 30m. The name comes from the fact that the water looks like dancing cotton ("Wata") as it falls. A popular scenic spot where you can enjoy the impressive power of nature from a promenade.
Roadside Station Sena
A tourism base for the foot of Mt. Hakusan with a wide variety of local specialties available. Fragrant soft serve ice cream using chestnuts is popular.
Return to Tsurugi Station and drop off the rental bicycle.
It is approximately 14 km from Watagataki Observatory to Tsurugi Station.
Return the bicycle on the first floor of the Hakusan City Tsurugi Branch Office, then head back to Kanazawa from Tsurugi Station.
IR Ishikawa Railway（approx. 3 min.) to Nishi-Kanazawa station
Transfer to the Hokuriku Railroad Ishikawa Line at Shin-Nishi-Kanazawa Station.（approx. 4 minutes walk)
