Direct operations of the Hokuriku Shinkansen bullet trains running between Tokyo and Kanazawa were resumed from October 25th. Kanazawa city was not impacted by the typhoon. Everyone, please do come here.

It was announced that there is a possibility that direct operations of the Hokuriku Shinkansen bullet trains between Tokyo and Kanazawa could be resumed from October 25th.
A definite timetable is scheduled to be announced on October 23rd.
Direct connections for bullet train service between Tokyo and Kanazawa are canceled.
Due to the impacts from the typhoon, routes and bullet train cars were damaged. Accordingly, for Hokuriku Shinkansen bullet trains, Kagayaki and Hakutaka operations for direct connections between Tokyo and Kanazawa are canceled. Please check the JR homepage for the latest situations regarding service.
Until all lines of the Hokuriku Shinkansen bullet trains are opened for traffic, please use alternative means below to travel by train and bus between Tokyo and Kanazawa.
