Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival commemorates the entry of Maeda Toshiie, the founder of Kanazawa city, into Kanazawa Castle. The festival this year is held for three days from Friday, May 31 to Sunday, June 2. Its highlight of is ‘Hyakumangoku Parade’, which takes place on Saturday afternoon, June 1. There are various other interesting events in the city. Special Tour with VIP seats to watch the parade is also available.

The Opening Ceremony of Kaga-tobi ladder top acrobatics performance by firemen and Taiko drum performances.

Participants in historical costumes will march through the main streets to the castle together with brass band performing music and Shishi-mai lion dance.

The actor dressed as Maeda Toshiie enters Kanazawa Castle and is celebrated.
