“yukitsuri” at Kenrokuen garden

At Kenroku-en, one of the Three Great Gardens of Japan, you can see the famous winter sight of “yukitsuri” until the middle of March. “Yukitsuri” refers to the technique of supporting branches with ropes to prevent them from breaking under the weight of the snow, and it is a seasonal spectacle in Kanazawa, where the snow has a high moisture content.

Furthermore, from February 1st until the 19th, Kenroku-en and Kanazawa Castle Park will be lit up with illuminations. Please take the opportunity to see this wondrous spectacle, available for this season only.
