Ainokura World Heritage Village is awaiting you next. Not as crowded as its neighboring Heritage Villages and featuring 20 Gassho style houses, Ainokura offers you privileged contact with a rural mountain village. A short but significant visit will give you enough time to walk uphill to enjoy a panoramic view of the area and take some memorable pictures.

A good walk brings a good appetite! Lunch at Maki no Oto restaurant will surprise you with a full French course made of the best of local and seasonal ingredients.

Last but not least, we invite you to Fukumitsu Museum. It permanently stores the works created about 100 years ago by woodblock printmaker Munakata Shiko and a rare collection of local Japanese painter Koyo Ishizaki. The museum feels like the perfect place to enjoy the unexpected.
